How many breast forms or shells am I allowed?
One every year for most insurance plans, Kaiser and Medicare is one every 2 years.
Does my insurance pay for swimsuits?
No, swimsuits are an extra cost.
What if I've only had a lumpectomy? Can I still have bras?
Yes, you are entitled to have the same benefits as if you had a full mastectomy.
I had reconstruction after my mastectomy, but I am slightly uneven. Can you still help me?
Yes! Even with reconstruction you are still entitled to bras, and we can help you become even with a small shell or reconstruction kit.
Does my insurance pay for compression items?
Possibly– every insurance plan is different and we are happy to bill it. However, all compression items are paid for at the time of ordering or measurements are done and if insurance pays for it, you will be reimbursed.
How long can I wear my compression garment?
Generally only 10-12 hours during the day, unless it is a specific night time garment. It is always a good idea to ask your physical therapist or doctor.
How should I wash my bras or compression garments?
All items should be hand washed with a light soap like Dreft that is petroleum free, and always hang to dry.
What insurances do you accept?
We accept all insurances, including Medicare, Medi-Cal and Kaiser.
